Today we’d like to introduce you to Joyce Marter.
Joyce, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My world opened up when I moved to the Chicago area in 1994 when I began the Masters in Counseling Program at Northwestern University. I found a community of people who cared about the deeper things in life–how our families and earlier experiences shape and mold us into who we are, how we unconsciously recreate what is familiar until we choose something better, and how we are all emotionally/relationally/spiritually connected to one another and the world around us.
